The CVT10-M converts a single 10G multimode fiber input into 10 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, enabling medium-distance transmission up to 300m. Featuring a compact 1U half-width design (254mm wide), it is perfect for installations where rack space is at a premium. Includes 2x 10G SFP Module-M pre-installed (multimode fiber).
CVT10: PRO vs Standard
This model uses Multimode fiber. For new installs, choose Single Mode — it offers longer distance and comparable pricing. Avoid Multimode unless reusing existing multimode fiber.

When connected to 10G (8b/10b) optical ports on front-end devices, the first 8 Ethernet ports are available per fiber. When connected to 10.3125G (64b/66b) optical ports, all 10 Ethernet ports are available. CVT10 works with all compatible NovaStar 10G front-end models.
